The Pubs of North Norfolk from South Creake to Walcott and Sheringham to Horsham all offer with only a few exceptions good ale, good food and good company; the few exceptions are those who prefer to remain a really traditional pub, simply offering good ale and good company.

Not all the Landlords or Ladies are Norfolk born and bred, but all are here, most of some years standing, because they like the traditions of offering a warm and friendly welcome to neighbour and visitor alike. “Are you alright” does not mean have you had enough to drink, but just a locals way of saying a friendly “hello”.
